Two greens. One conversation.

Matte, slubbed Tussar silk in deep rama green, with small gold zari floral sprigs across the body. A bright parrot-green border carries tapering gold zari teeth and a band of woven florals. The pallu is lime throughout, closed in a fine gold jaal.

The darker green holds still. The brighter one moves. Seven yards, with a blouse piece attached.

A gold or champagne zigzag blouse keeps both greens clean and picks up the zari. Add a pearl choker, floral-cut studs, bottle green and gold bangles, and loose hair. For something bolder, try deep magenta or mustard.

• Dry clean recommended, to preserve the natural texture of Tussar and the zari work.
• If hand washing, use cold water and a very mild detergent. Handle gently, do not wring or scrub, and wash separately as the lime green may release colour.
• Store folded in a breathable muslin cloth. Avoid plastic covers, which can affect Tussar's natural texture.
• Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading.
• Iron on a low setting on the reverse side with a pressing cloth. Do not iron directly over the zari.
• Natural slubs and small variations in the weave are part of Tussar's character and are not defects.
